Continuing our Fall Pleasures series, this week we’re featuring outdoor decor and entertaining ideas. This series is about simple things that you can do today, so we hope these images inspire you to create lovely outdoor decor at your home. Right now, garden centers are bursting with mums, grasses, Asters, kales, pansies, gourds, and pumpkins that you can use in pots, window boxes, or for tabletop decor. An easy hint: we usually plop plants directly into decorative containers or baskets, rather than replanting them. It’s not cheating, really!
Fall is also an ideal time to entertain outdoors. The sun is warm, but the shadows are cool, so drape blankets or sheepskin rugs over chairs, and get cozy! We love to take steaming mugs of hot chocolate or cider, bundle up with scarves and jackets, and sit outdoors to enjoy the spectacular foliage.
