We come into our glory in the Fall here in New England. Because there are so many pleasures in this short season, we’re beginning a series on getting the most out of Autumn, wherever you live. These are short, easy things that you can do today! Our first tip is to bring outdoor perennials inside your house.
Garden centers carry lots of mums, asters, kales, and grasses, which are typically outdoor plants. Consider bringing them inside to enhance your home. Why not?
Line the inside of a container with plastic. Above, we’ve used rush baskets, but use what you have on hand ~ galvanized tins, ceramic pots, terra cotta, whatever.
Enjoy the cheerful welcome these plants add to your home and stay tuned for more inspiration!

Not enough gardeners plan for fall color in their beds. Asters are just the ticket. I loved the decorating of the teen girls bedroom. Your choice of colors and textures were perfect, and not white with a pick throw pillow. Gook job with the site
