Coffee and Muffins on the Adirondacks

Few things say New England quite like Adirondack chairs. They have a comfortable, solid feel and bring to mind summer vacations near the sea. Wherever you live, add this bit of New England flair to your outdoors.

Classic Adirondack Seating

Adirondack chairs are a sensible combination of chair and side table. Their wide arms provide the perfect spot for a mug of coffee, a glass of wine, or a stack of books.

For the classic New England look, we favor pristine white chairs made of painted cedar. They do come in many colors and materials, though. You can easily lift the plastic chairs with one hand. If you prefer a natural look, try natural cedar or teak chairs.

On spring and summer mornings, you’ll find me out back on my Adirondack, with a mug of coffee perched on one arm, and book on the other. Join me!
